How much does a corporate photographer cost in 2026?

The price ranges seen in France for a corporate photographer, what makes them vary and how to compare quotes.

In France, a corporate photographer usually charges between €80 and €300 per hour, which comes to roughly €400 to €1,000 for a half day and €700 to €1,500 excluding VAT for a full day. These amounts vary with time on site, the number of photos delivered, retouching, travel and how the images will be used.

In short

  • Hourly rate: €80 to €300 depending on experience, specialty and region.
  • Half day: roughly €400 to €1,000.
  • Full day: roughly €700 to €1,500 excluding VAT.
  • Possible extras: travel, advanced retouching, extended usage rights.
  • Key point: prices vary a lot from one photographer to another, so always compare what is included.

What drives the price of a corporate photographer?

The price of a shoot is not only about the photographer's talent. It reflects the total working time, on site and after the shoot, and the way you plan to use the images.

Time on site

Most photographers think in hours or half days. The guide published by CLFD Capture puts the hourly rate of a photographer working for companies between €80 and €300. For event photography, Plateya breaks it down by profile: about €100 per hour for a beginner, €150 for an experienced professional and €200 to €300 for a high end photographer, with higher rates in the Paris region than elsewhere in France.

Number of photos delivered

Some photographers charge per image or per person photographed. For team portraits, CLFD Capture mentions €150 to €200 per portrait when the rate is calculated per person. Others build a volume into a package: in the rates published by Adrien Lacour, a staff directory shoot of up to 15 people is included in the half day at €600 excluding VAT, then €15 excluding VAT per additional person up to 30 people. For product photos, Guigs Art gives €15 to €50 per photo.

Retouching

Sorting, selection and light retouching are often included in the package, as in Adrien Lacour's rates. More advanced retouching takes extra time. Ask what the retouching covers exactly before comparing two quotes.

Travel

Travel is often included within a given radius, then charged per kilometre. Plateya quotes €0.50 to €0.80 per kilometre after the first 20 kilometres. CLFD Capture charges companies about €0.70 per kilometre excluding VAT after 15 free kilometres. A shoot far from the photographer's base therefore weighs on the budget.

Image usage rights

In France, the photographer is the author of the images. To use them, the company obtains a transfer of rights that sets out the uses, duration, territory and any exclusivity, as Matpix Studio explains. The French union of professional photographers (UPP) publishes indicative scales, but the amount is almost always negotiated case by case: according to Fotostudio, the same use can be billed anywhere from €150 to €600 depending on the size of the client and the photographer. A website or a LinkedIn page does not call for the same rights as a billboard campaign.

What are the typical prices in France in 2026?

The following figures come from pricing guides and rate cards published by photographers. They give orders of magnitude, not a reference price.

Half day

Plateya estimates half a day of event coverage at €400 to €1,000. In Lyon, Adrien Lacour lists €600 excluding VAT for four hours. In Savoie, a photographer lists on her website a rate starting at €500 for three and a half to four hours, with travel charged beyond 25 kilometres.

Full day

Studio Fabrice Le Livec puts a full day of shooting at €700 to €1,500 excluding VAT. Adrien Lacour lists €1,000 excluding VAT per day and the same photographer a rate starting at €950 for seven to eight hours.

Per photo

Per image pricing is mostly found for products and extra files. Guigs Art quotes €15 to €50 per product photo, and CLFD Capture charges companies €20 for each additional HD photo.

What does Layve offer?

Layve is a content production and management platform for companies. You describe your goal in three lines. Layve reads public information about your company to understand its visual and editorial identity, then sends you a plan: photos, videos, formats, a fixed price from a fixed grid and a delivery window that narrows once the professional confirms the shoot date. You approve it, and nothing is ordered before that.

A professional photographer from the Layve network then receives a complete brief and shoots on site. The photos are sorted and retouched, delivered in your space, and the pieces you approve are published on your channels.

The photo packs of the corporate grid, excluding VAT:

  • 15 photos: €110, about 1h30 on site.
  • 20 photos: €140, about 2h.
  • 30 photos: €195, about 2h30.
  • 40 photos: €245, about 3h.
  • 50 photos: €290, about 3h30.
  • Half day, 125 photos: €595.
  • Full day, 275 photos: €1,060.

Specific packs exist for real estate, from €90 excluding VAT for 15 photos, and for car dealerships. It is one option among others: the point of a fixed grid is to know the price before you commit.

How do you choose a corporate photographer?

A good choice starts from how the images will be used, not from the listed rate. A few questions help you compare offers on the same basis.

  • Which channels? Website, LinkedIn, brochure, trade show or campaign: the use determines the style, the format and the scope of the rights.
  • How many useful photos? Thinking in number of images delivered rather than in hours avoids paying for time you do not need.
  • What does the price include? Sorting, retouching, travel, usage rights: check each point on the quote.
  • What experience in your sector? Ask to see complete series, not only the best shots.
  • Who prepares the shoot? A clear brief on locations, people and key messages makes half a day far more productive.
